My Halloween mask for 2022. based on the popular video game, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. One of the most important games of all time.

To assemble; I bought some 3-D printed parts from Etsy, then glued those pieces together with hot melt glue. I sanded the mask, then added a paint primer to the entire mask. The body was primed black, while the spikes and eyes were primed white. Then the actual painting began. Yellow, orange, dark red, dark purple, green, and blue was applied, then, the white, yellow, and black then lines were added. I glazed the visible parts of the mask, then I applied some padding to the inside to make it more comfortable and safe to wear on the head, and attached a spandex strap to hold it in place.

It holds onto the head very well.

The whole process -gluing, and painting- probably took about four hours total. I am very pleased with the result. It will hang on my wall for a long time.
